Recently, I have been super into button front dresses. As a fashionista, I absolutely love when something can be worn in many different ways and styles. If you are looking for a fabulous button front dress to add to your wardrobe, I highly recommend the dress I’m wearing by Gretchen Scott. The neutral colors and flattering style can be paired with almost anything. The quality of fabric and construction is superb! You can style this dress or any other button front dress in these 3 ways!
The Classic
Wear a button front dress the traditional way! It can be worn adventuring during the day or to dinner out on the town. This dress is primarily brown tones with a hint of black, so I wore black sandals and a black purse to match. There is something classic about matching your purse and shoes to what you are wearing. Pair this look with understated and classic jewelry, I opted for a pair of dainty gold hoops and a simple gold bracelet.
The Chic
The perfect look for a snazzy affair, going to work, or just a regular day if you want to look fabulous! For this look wear your button front dress unbuttoned. My button front dress has a front tie so I did a side knot. Pair with neutral trousers and add a pop of color on your top, shoes, and handbag. I added light pink shoes, a light pink bodysuit, and a bright pink handbag because pink is the best color in the world duh! In fact, I wore these Sam Edelman shoes for my bridal shower and they are one of the most comfortable pairs of heels I own! I opted for minimal and classic jewelry such as the necklace I’m wearing.
The Sporty
I absolutely love this sporty look! Like c’mon who doesn’t love to wear tennis shoes and be comfortable all day?! Wear your button front dress unbuttoned with a pair of denim shorts and a basic tee. Spice it up with some killer kicks and a fanny pack. Also, fanny packs need to be in style forever (I never lose my phone when I wear one)! To complete the look, add a big pair of sassy hoops and a chunky watch and you are ready to go!
Hope you enjoyed these 3 ways to style your button front dress! If you use any of these style tips snap a pic, I would love to see!
