London… I love & miss you! If you have been before, you know how easy it is to miss London. If you haven’t been before, book a flight ASAP! In my book, it is the best big city there is!
After college, I was lucky enough to move to London. During my time living there, I got to experience so much that London had to offer. However, there are 12 things that stand out to me! Some of them are well known & some are hidden gems…
1.) Wander Around Notting Hill
Definitely my favorite neighborhood in all of London! If you are looking for vibrant colors & a whimsical feel, look no further! If it’s your first time in Notting Hill, I highly suggest going with no time constraints. You will want as much time as possible to explore this London neighborhood.

If you get hungry, stop at my favorite brunch spot in Notting Hill Farm Girl.
2.) Eat Pizza at L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele
If you are looking for traditional Italian zaaa in London, this is definitely where you go! Seriously the MOST delicious pizza! The original L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele is in Naples, Italy. Also, the location in Naples is featured in the book & movie Eat Pray Love.
Do yourself a favor & order the margarita pizza! The recipe for the margarita pizza is the same as at the Naples location.

3.) Shoe Shopping at Kat Maconie
One of my all-time favorite shoe & accessory brands! Kat Maconie shoes display interesting color palettes, embroidery, prints, embellishments, hardware, & more. It is a must for any fashionista!
4.) Pink Cafés of London
London doesn’t have a shortage of fabulous pink cafés! & with pink being my favorite color, you know I found the best spots! CLICK HERE for a guide of fabulous pink cafés!
5.) Daunt Bookstore
The cutest book shop there ever was! Daunt Books is located in Marylebone (the neighborhood I used to live in). Head there with no agenda & expect to spend hours wandering the store. Any kind of book you can think of, they have! Not to mention the vibes of this cozy bookstore are unbeatable!
6.) Prints of Liberty London
Liberty London is an incredible department store located inside a tudor-revival building. It is full of fashion, beauty, home goods, & more! They even have their own fabric line. The prints on their fabrics are one of a kind & are truly remarkable! Also, they sell their prints on goods such as scarfs, clothing, pillows, & more!
7.) Vintage Shopping in Shoreditch
The neighborhood of Shoreditch is hip, full of funk, & home to creatives/artists. Some of my all-time favorite vintage finds have come from this neighborhood! I highly suggest wandering around & going in all of the vintage stores you come across! However, a few of my personal favorites are: Brick Lane Vintage, Serotonin Vintage London, & Nordic Poetry
8.) Eat Italian Food at Da Mario
Italian is my favorite food group, so you bet I searched London high & low for what I think is the best Italian! This amazing restaurant was often frequented by Princess Diana. Order anything on the menu, you won’t be disappointed!
9.) Hat Shopping at Lock & Co.
Lock & Co is the oldest hat shop in the world! They showcase history, superb craftsmanship, & exquisite fabrics! Historical figures such as Winston Churchill & Oscar Wilde have worn their hats. Lock & Co has 3 collections, my personal favorite is the women’s ready-to-wear collection!
10.) Eat Cheese at Paxton & Whitfield
Paxton & Whitefield was established in 1797 & is one of the oldest cheesemongers in England. In fact, they supply cheese to the royal family! Seriously the most delicious cheese on the planet!
11.) Fashion Exhibits at the Victoria & Albert Museum
The Victoria & Albert museum is home to the world’s largest collection of design, decorative arts, & applied arts. There is a permanent collection of over 2.27 million objects! While all of the exhibits are absolutely incredible, my personal favorite are the rotating fashion exhibits. I have been lucky enough to see the Dior exhibit & the Alexander McQueen exhibit. Make sure to check what exhibits are currently on display before you go!
